Our New Zealand Black Ferns made their mark at Eden Park on Saturday night with a 29 – 10 win over the England side. The Ferns were determined to show their dominance in the first home series since 2007, after having lost five tests to England since 2010.
The game was a great event before the Blues v Chiefs game (which kicked off at 7:35 p.m and a Chiefs win of 26 to 16).
The Ferns next game will be in Hamilton on Tuesday, and then on Saturday 20th, right here on our patch of Franklin, in Pukekohe.
Anyone wanting to give the girls some support, should get along.
To find out more head to the Counties Manukau Rugby Football Union website. It should be a great game!
